Kennedy Museum Update

ATHENS, Ohio -- (March 13, 2000) The Kennedy Museum of Art, Ohio University, opened the "Faculty Art Exhibition 2000: School of Art Ohio University," on February 26, 2000. The exhibit features work from 34 faculty members from the school of Art at Ohio University and includes the departments of Art Education, Ceramics, Graphic Design, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture. The exhibit will remain on display through April 16. Also on display is the Education Gallery featuring work from the museum's Native American collection.

The Faculty Art Series continues in conjunction with the faculty exhibition; this Thursday Mary Manusos, Professor, Printmaking, will speak about her work. The schedule for the Faculty Art Series is as follows:

  • March 16 Mary Manusos, Printmaking
  • April 6 To be announced
  • April 13 Don Adleta, Graphic Design

The series is held between 6-7 p.m. at the Kennedy Museum.

Museum guides are available on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. to provide information about the museum and current exhibitions.

Regular gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday; noon to 8 p.m. Thursday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking are free to the public.
