ATHENS, Ohio -- Award-winning poet Greg Williamson will read from his work at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, in Ellis Hall, room 113 on the Ohio University campus. Presented by the English Department's Program in Creative Writing, the reading is free and open to the public. A reception and book signing will follow the reading.
Williamson, who is best known for his use of poetic form, is author of "The Silent Partner," which won the Nicholas Roerich Prize, and "Errors in the Script." His poetry has appeared in The Paris Review, The Yale Review and Poetry. He teaches in the writing seminars at Johns Hopkins University.
