ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University's School of Accountancy and the Ohio Society of CPAs are sponsoring the Ohio University Tax Conference on Friday, Oct. 4, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Baker University Center Ballroom.
Among the scheduled presenters is Ohio Tax Commissioner Tom Zaino, who will discuss recent sales and use tax and corporate franchise tax developments. Other scheduled topics include current tax and non-tax issues relating to business valuations and new legislative developments affecting individual and corporate taxpayers. Conference participants can earn up to eight hours of CPE credit.
Conference fees are $140 per person, $119 for individuals from organizations with three or more participants and $100 for government workers or individuals from the Ohio Appalachian Region. Preregistration is not required.
