ATHENS, Ohio -- Next to your GPA, your score on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) is the most important factor in getting accepted to graduate school.
Ohio University's Community and Professional Programs Online Prep Courses will focus on test taking and skill building exercises required to earn the high score you need. Each course contains an official test, four months of Web access, a computer-adaptive CD-ROM containing practice exams, and two diagnostic assessment reports. Practice tests, past exams and simulated materials are used to teach question types and test strategies.
Participants will learn: test taking techniques, time-saving methods, logical reasoning, verbal ability and math competence. Assignments reinforce simulated test questions.
"These courses are the perfect solution for students with busy schedules," says Program Coordinator, Lisa S.Dael. "We wanted to provide students with the opportunity to get in some extra studying over the summer so they would be ready to take the graduate exams when they returned to campus in the fall."
Students can begin anytime and work at their own pace. The $225 course fee includes all materials and instruction. The only requirement for participation is a computer with Internet access. When students are ready to take the GRE or GMAT exams they can do so at Ohio University through the Educational Testing Center in the Computer Services Center. Call (740) 597-1537 for more information.
