ATHENS, Ohio -- WOUB-TV is hosting an exclusive sneak preview of The Moscow Circus: A Winter's Tale at Templeton-Blackburn AlumniMemorial Auditorium on Sunday, May 18 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The Moscow Circus brought the world premiere of its sensational show, A Winter's Tale, to a sold-out Athens audience lastNovember.
WOUB-TV documented the experiences of the cast and crew as they adapted the show to allow it to be performed on the stage of the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium on the Ohio University campus. For the first time in its 150-year history, The Moscow Circus performed on a proscenium stage, rather than in an arena.
The Ohio University Telecommunications Center, a unit of the College of Communication, operates two television stations-WOUB-TV/Channel 20 in Athens and WOUC-TV/Channel 44 in Cambridge-one cable channel-WOUB II, and six radiostations-WOUB-1340 AM, WOUB-91.3 FM, WOUC-89.1 FM, WOUH-91.9 FM, WOUL-89.1 FM and WOUZ-90.1 FM.
