ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University faculty, staff and students can make nominations or apply for awards that will be presented at the 20th annual Leadership Recognition Reception on May 28.

Nomination/application forms are available now in the Office of Student Activities located in 204 Baker University Center. They are also available online at www.ohio.edu/stuactivities.

The deadline for nomination/application forms is Friday, May 2, at 5 p.m.

Individual and organization awards will be presented for outstanding campus and community leadership and service. These awards include the King/Chavez/Parks Award, the Stonewall Leadership Award, the Outstanding Senior Leader Awards, the Rudy Leadership Award and the Outstanding Programming Awards.

Criteria for the awards include leadership and involvement in the university and/or Athens communities. The Leadership Recognition Reception is sponsored by the Offices of the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Dean of Students and Student Activities.
