ATHENS, Ohio -- WOUB-TV successfully completed its March Marathon Membership Campaign, raising $116,668 and marking the most successful campaign in WOUB's history.
Programs raising the most dollars during the membership campaign included the "Daniel O'Donnell and Friends Show," "Play Piano in a Flash," "Red Green," "Lawrence Welk" and "Anne of Green Gables."
"Response from our viewers was great," said Doug Partusch, WOUB associate director for Development and Communications. "This was our most successful pledge drive ever. We heard from over 1,000 callers from all over the region. It was very encouraging to see our membership totals grow in the Marietta, OH/Parkersburg, W.Va., New Philadelphia/Dover and Newark areas. These membership dollars are especially important to help offset increasing program costs."
Viewers interested in pledging their support can still do so online at www.woub.org/membership
