ATHENS, Ohio -- The Coalition Advocating Responsible Drinking Decisions (CARDD) invites faculty, staff and community members to participate in an "environmental scan" this spring to determine the culture on campus regarding the use of alcohol.
Scanning involves observing, recording and reaching a consensus about the alcohol-related messages that students receive.
The information will be compared to results of a similar study six years ago and will be used by CARDD to help determine future goals and objectives of the coalition.
Informational meetings will be held for volunteers from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, in the University Judiciaries offices, Suite D, Beckley Building, and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in Galbreath Chapel.
Those interested in volunteering or requesting more information should contact David Stout, CARDD graduate assistant, at (740) 593-0163 or ds381602@ohio.edu.
