Ohio University announces Family Weekends, Homecoming dates for 2003-04

ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University has announced the dates of some of its Family Weekends and Homecoming for the 2003-04 academic year.

Dates that are scheduled for the next year are:

Fall Parents Weekend, Sept. 26-28, 2003
Homecoming, Oct. 10-12, 2003
Moms Weekend, April 30-May 2, 2004

Dates for Dads Weekend, Winter Parents Weekend and Sibs Weekend will be announced in the summer. These will be held during winter quarter.

Family Weekends are a special part of the Ohio University experience. "These occasions capture the family atmosphere that exists on campus and allow students to share their college experience with some of their biggest supporters," Dean of Students Terry Hogan said. "Every effort is made to ensure that the students and their parents have an enjoyable time together."

Though the family weekends are labeled as they are, participation in them is open to all. Schedules of events and other details for Family Weekends are available on the Web at www.ohiou.edu/familyweekends.
