ATHENS, Ohio -- Clara Ledford was honored at the Classified Senate's January meeting at Ohio University's Classified Employee of the Month for December 2002. On hand to congratulate Clara was Christine Sheets, director of Business and Residence Services. Sheets said of Ledford, "We couldn't live without her; she is a joy to work with." Ledford has been with Ohio University for more than 30 years.
Pamela Drake nominated Ledford for this award saying, "She is responsible for a tremendous amount of information and she never lets things slide. She has a strong attendance record and has never shied away from additional tasks or responsibilities. Clara is still striving to be the best at her position; she is not an individual content to rest on her laurels."
When asked if you could design your "dream job," what would it be Ledford said, "I am working my dream job, I thoroughly enjoy what I do."
