Human Resources prepares for relocation

ATHENS, Ohio -- The offices of University Human Resources will be closed Monday, Aug. 26, to relocate to the new Human Resources and Training Center located at 169 W. Union St. While the office is officially closed on Aug. 26, individual areas will continue to move throughout the rest of the week on a staggered schedule.

We will work diligently to keep up with day-to-day matters; however certain delays may occur such as the time period for returning phone calls and e-mail messages.

Due to the transit of computers, personnel and employment and benefit files, the following services will be suspended during the times listed:

  • the visitor parking lot located next to McKee house will be closed Aug. 23 through 30. Access for those needing parking behind Konneker Alumni Center (Private Lot--Permit required at all times) will be available. Alternate parking can be found in any dark green or purple lot. Please contact Parking Services at 593-1917 if you have any questions.

  • posting of faculty and administrative positions: Aug. 21 through 27

  • posting of classified and bargaining unit positions: Aug. 16 through Sept. 2

  • audit and review of Position Description Questionnaires and Job Information Questionnaires: Aug. 16 through Sept. 2

You may continue to reach HR staff at their current phone numbers. Feel free to call should you have questions or concerns.

Your patience and consideration during this period is appreciated and will help ensure a smooth transition.
