Philip Morris representative to speak at Ohio University

ATHENS, Ohio -- Laurie Guzzinati, senior specialist of media relations in Corporate Communications at Philip Morris Management Corp., will speak at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in 111 Scripps Hall at Ohio University in Athens on the company's attempts to align itself with society's expectations of a responsible company. She will also talk about Philip Morris USA's changes in the way they market and advertise cigarettes. A question and answer period will follow Guzzinati's talk.

The Ohio University Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) will host the discussion. PRSSA is a student organization in the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism that offers members the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of public relations by providing access to professional development and by cultivating mutually beneficial relationships between students and professional public relations practitioners.

The Philip Morris family of companies is the world's largest producer and marketer of consumer packaged goods. Philip Morris Companies Inc. has five principal operating companies: Kraft Foods Inc.; Miller Brewing Company; Philip Morris International Inc.; Philip Morris Inc. (PM USA); and Philip Morris Capital Corp.
