ATHENS, Ohio -- A recent survey of adult learners who have completed noncredit online courses offered by Ohio University Community and Professional Programs shows learners find self-paced e-learning to be a convenient and effective way of reaching their career goals.
The survey also found more than 86 percent of students rated their e-Learning continuing education experience as "good" or "excellent." In addition, more than 95 percent of respondents felt they received "good" or "excellent" service from Community and Professional Programs during the learning process.
Recognized as a premier institution of higher education, Ohio University teamed with MindLeaders, a global leader in self-paced e-Learning, to offer more than 800 online courses. Topics available include desktop applications, technical skills for computer professionals (including certification training for Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Novell, etc.) and a variety of Web development skills. Students can earn Continuing Education Units from Ohio University for successfully completing any of the available courses.
