ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of the national Independence Day holiday. All six sites -- UOMC-Parks Hall in Athens, UOMC ENT/Allergy on Richland Avenue, UOMC-O'Bleness in Athens, UOMC-Coolville, UOMC-Nelsonville Square, and UOMC-Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville -- will be closed. If you would like information about the University Osteopathic Medical Center or wish to make an appointment, please call (740) 593-1700.

The university will reopen Friday, July 5, operating under normally scheduled hours (7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

Have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
