ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine Prenatal Health Education Program and the Ohio Department of Health are collaborating to bring a prenatal class series, designed Just for Teens, to the Athens area in July. The programs will be held July 9, 16 and 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the University Osteopathic Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Department in O'Bleness.
The classes are free and open to pregnant teens and their parents and others in their support system. The series will cover health care strategies for Mom and baby while providing information relavant to someone in their teen years. Each session will cover a different aspect of prenatal care. Preregistration is strongly encouraged.
