ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University's Classified Senate announced that Jackie Quigley, Records Management Coordinator in the Registrar's Office in Athens, has been named the Non-bargaining Classified Employee of the Month for April 2002. She was nominated by Jane Pidcock, Assistant Registrar for Operations.
Quigley, who has worked at Ohio University for over two years, assisted in implementing the on-line graduation application at the University. She described herself as an enthusiastic team player and said she's proud to be a part of the Registrar's Office.
Pidcock said, "Jackie willingly accepts new challenges and additional duties without reservation. She deals with issues in a professional manner and is not afraid to share her ideas for modifying procedures that can improve our customer service and make things easier for our staff."
In addition to being named the April Employee of the Month, Quigley has been appointed to the program planning committee for next year's Ohio Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers Conference. She serves as a team leader for the Registrar's Office Imaging Project and has attended the MAC Athletic Eligibility Workshop. Despite these achievementss, Jackie said one of her most important accomplishments has been raising and enjoying the adults her three children have become.
This monthly award is made based on nominations submitted by members of the University community for any non-bargaining unit, classified employee who is setting standards for excellence and innovation by promoting unity, community, continuity and visibility.
