ATHENS, Ohio -- At the request of students across campus, a second vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the West Portico of Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium on the College Green.

Titled "Reflections on Peace and Love," it will include readings by Ohio University students, drawn from religious and non-religious texts, as well as selected musical performances by Ohio University faculty. Further, students will be invited to join in a community-writing project by committing to paper their condolences for members of the Ohio University family who have been personally affected by the tragedy.
