Student Affairs plans workshops to help student organizations
ATHENS, Ohio -- Students, take your organization in new directions by sending an organization representative to each of the student organization sessions offered winter quarter 2002. These sessions are intended to educate your organization on important topics and teach you about the many resources available to you.
Introduction to Web Page Design with HTML: Intermediate
If you are a student organization pagemaster who has a moderate comfort level with Web page design, have taken the BASIC session, or are an experienced pagemaster but have not used the Ohio University Front Door Server, then sign up for this workshop! This session will cover HTML beyond the basic level and will provide students with practice uploading files to the Front Door server.

SAC Workshops
The Student Activities Commission (SAC) allocates funds for programs and events to registered student organizations. Learn how your organization can apply for funding from SAC this quarter!

- Friday, Jan. 25 from 2 to 3 p.m. in 304 Baker University Center

Program Planning
You've got the ideas, you've got the funding, now what???? Come learn the ins and outs of programming planning on Ohio University's campus. This session will cover not only general program planning logistics, but will also deal with information specific to OU such as the Major Events Committee and regulations for planning a concert on campus, collaboration with other groups and other resources.

Treasurer Sessions
These sessions are designed to teach treasurers how to keep effective account books, including how to record SAC funding, and to inform treasurers of the different available cashier options. Each organization is asked to send their treasurer to one of the sessions offered at the following times.

- Wednesday, Feb. 20 from noon to 1 p.m. in 327 Baker University Center
