ATHENS, Ohio -- An interview with Ohio University Distinguished Professor of Economics Richard Vedder will be aired on the CNBC program "Business Center" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11. Vedder will discuss the economic impact of the September 11 tragedy on Washington, D.C.

Vedder's interview took place on campus Monday and was facilitated by the university's satellite transmission truck and the media studio in University Communications and Marketing.

CNBC is carried on Catvision and Athens' Time Warner cable channel 56.
