ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio University Showcase Committee will host the second annual Holiday Showcase at Trisolini Gallery, Tuesday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Nov. 30. Showcase hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday.

Items for sale will include employee made floral arrangements, quilted items, candles, ceramics, jewelry, ornaments, wooden items and decorations. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Showcase Scholarship fund.

The Showcase Committee will award three or more scholarships to Ohio University employees and their spouses and children for the first time this spring. Eligible applicants must have a minimum 45 completed credit hours and a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Applications may be picked up at Ohio Universityıs Financial Aid Office beginning in January.

³The Holiday Showcase gives employees a chance to display their creative talents, while helping raise money for scholarships,² said Showcase Committee member John Dillon II. ³Last year, the Showcase was a huge success and everyone loved the handmade items.²

2001-02 Showcase Committee members include Karen Deardorff, Dillon, Marlene Russell, Rhonda Talbott, and David Underwood.
