ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio University women's soccer team will host the 2001 Mid-American Conference women's soccer tournament this weekend at Shafer Street Soccer Field on the Ohio University campus.
The semifinals start Friday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. when No. 2 seed Eastern Michigan takes on third-seeded Miami. The top-seeded Bobcats will then host No. 4 seed Central Michigan at 2 p.m. The MAC championship game will take place at noon on Sunday, Nov. 11.
Admission is $5 for the general public and $3 for Ohio University students and children under the age of 3. The winner of the tournament will receive the conference's automatic berth into the 16-team NCAA Soccer Championship field, which will begin Nov. 16 at campus sites.
