Graduates, Remember Your E-mail for Life

Contact: Mail Services, (740) 593-1851

ATHENS, Ohio (June 8, 2001) -- Ohio University is presenting the Class of 2001 the gift that keeps on giving -- and receiving. Graduates can participate in the E-Mail for Life program, a service that allows them to use their university e-mail addresses indefinitely. The Alumni Association and Communication Network Services are providing this e-mail forwarding service to graduates for free.

Graduates' Oak accounts will remain fully functional through December 2001, so they'll have plenty of time to get a new work or home e-mail account set up. To use this service, visit the university's e-mail maintenance page at http://www.cns.ohiou.edu/email/ and click on "Modify My Online Directory Entry." Now grads won't have the hassle of circulating a change-of-e-mail address to friends and family. Plus, by using their ohio.edu e-mail address, they'll let the world know that they're proud to be an Ohio University graduate.
