The Hocking Valley Audubon Society meets on the second Sunday of the month to learn more about the natural world found in Athens, Hocking, Morgan and Vinton counties. Programs feature guest lecturers, hikes and field trips in the four counties; as well as activities like the Annual Christmas Bird Count in December. All members of the National Audubon Society are automatically local members. Another way to qualify for membership is by participating in the society's Annual Bird Seed Sale.
