ATHENS, Ohio -- Richard G. Milter, Ph.D., associate professor of management and director of the MBA Without Boundaries program in the Ohio University College of Business, has been elected chairman of Educational Innovation in Economics and Business (EDiNEB), an international association of business educators. EDiNEB, which was founded in 1993, includes education professionals representing universities and corporate learning programs from 30 countries from every continent except Antarctica.
"EDiNEB grants members access to a network of like-minded educators and other individuals who are committed to using emerging technological advances to most effectively teach business and economy," Milter said.
Milter has played a pivotal role in the growth and development of EDiNEB. He delivered a keynote address at the organization's international conference in 1993, was elected to the executive board in its first business meeting and was the lone U.S. representative on the board for five years. He has held leadership roles in coordinating three international conferences.
Milter has been heavily involved in the field of educational innovations. He has provided keynote addresses at international professional conferences and has provided workshops on innovative learning technologies at universities and corporations around the world.
He joined the Ohio University faculty in 1987.
