Ohio University to Close July 4

ATHENS, Ohio (July 3, 2001) -- Ohio University will be closed Wednesday, July 4, in observance of the national Independence Day holiday. The closure includes all five regional campuses, the College of Osteopathic Medicine and all branches of the University Osteopathic Medical Center. All six sites -- UOMC-Parks Hall in Athens, UOMC ENT/Allergy on Richland Avenue, UOMC-O'Bleness in Athens, UOMC-Coolville, UOMC-Nelsonville Square, and UOMC-Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville -- will be closed. If you would like information about the University Osteopathic Medical Center or wish to make an appointment, please call (740) 593-1700.
The university will reopen Thursday, July 5, operating under normally scheduled hours.
