Ohio University to Close May 28 for Memorial Day

ATHENS, Ohio (May 25, 2001) -- Ohio University will be closed Monday, May 28, in observance of the national Memorial Day holiday. The closure includes all five regional campuses, the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and all branches of the University Osteopathic Medical Center. All six sites -- UOMC-Parks Hall in Athens, UOMC ENT/Allergy on Richland Avenue, UOMC-O'Bleness in Athens, UOMC-Coolville, UOMC-Nelsonville Square, and UOMC-Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville -- will be closed. The university will reopen Tuesday, May 29, operating under normally scheduled hours.
