OU-COM Community Service Programs to Provide Free Breast & Cervical Cancer Screenings

ATHENS, Ohio (April 11, 2001) -- Free breast and cervical cancer screenings will be provided by the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine's Community Service Programs on:
- Friday, April 27 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. on the Ohio University's West Green at the University Osteopathic Medical Center in Parks Hall.
- Monday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Coolville HealthCare Center at 25716 Wilson St. in Coolville
- Tuesday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the OU-COM mobile health van parked in the Athens Mall lot in Athens.
Pap tests, pelvic and breast examinations, mammogram referrals and breast health education will be provided by appointment to the uninsured and underinsured women of Athens County.
