Kids on Campus Accepting Applications for Summer Program

ATHENS, Ohio (March 15, 2001) -- Kids on Campus is currently accepting applications for an all-day, 6-week summer program on the campuses of Ohio University and Hocking College for children entering the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades next year from Alexander, The Plains, Trimble, Federal Hocking, Chauncey, Coolville, East, West, Morrison and Amesville Elementary Schools and Alexander Middle school.

Breakfast, lunch, enrichment sessions, and transportation are included. The program starts June 25 and runs through August 3, Monday-Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Enrichment sessions focus on four areas: literacy; technologies (science, math, computers); mind, body and spirit (recreation, swimming, fine arts, wellness); and the cranium challenge (robotics, engineering, problem-solving).
