GRANVILLE, Ohio (January 20, 2001) -- The Ohio men's indoor track team dominated at the Denison "Lid-Lifter" Meet on Saturday afternoon. Although the meet was unscored, the Ohio men won eleven events in competition against Denison, Duquesne and Otterbein College.

A strong team showing allowed the Bobcats to perform well overall. Steve Schaub placed first in the 55m hurdles, with a time of 7.77 seconds. He was followed by teammates J.K. Apraku, Scott Trahey, and Jason Lanza. Ohio also had multiple placers in the 55 and 200m dashes.

Other Ohio winners included Jason Taylor (55m), Scott Trahey (400), Martin Jackson (200), J.K. Apraku (long jump), John Whitney (triple jump), Eli Keiner (shot put), James Taylor (high jump), and Rob James (pole vault). The Ohio 4x200 and 4x400 meter teams also came in first.

The Bobcats are back in action on Friday when they travel to Findlay for the Alltel Meet.
