Ohio University Observes Labor Day Holiday September 4
Ohio University will officially be closed Monday, September 4 in observance of the national Labor Day holiday. This includes all regional campuses, as well as the College of Osteopathic Medicine and all branches of the University Osteopathic Medical Center. All five sites -- UOMC-Parks Hall in Athens, UOMC-O'Bleness in Athens, UOMC-Coolville, UOMC-Nelsonville Square, and UOMC-Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville -- will be closed. If you would like information about the University Osteopathic Medical Center or wish to make an appointment, please call 740-593-1700.
The university will reopen Tuesday, September 5, operating under normally scheduled hours, and with classes beginning. Also, the residence halls open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, and certain offices* will be open during the holiday weekend (see below).

* Please note: Because the holiday falls right at the beginning of fall quarter, some student services offices will be open with limited hours and services. Here's a list:

- Admissions, Bursar, Registrar and Financial Aid: open from 10 a.m to 4 p.m September 2-4
