Bobcat Basketball OSN-TV Package Debuts Wednesday
Games against Virginia, West Virginia, Marshall and Miami to be aired

ATHENS, Ohio (December 4, 2000) -- The Ohio Sports Network television package debuted Wednesday, December 6th when the Ohio Bobcats visited the 23rd ranked Virginia Cavaliers. It is one of four games that will be televised by OSN affiliates during the 2000-01 college basketball season. Tipoff was set for 7:30 p.m. in Charlottesville. The game was broadcast on WOUB/WOUC-TV 20/44 in southern and eastern Ohio, along with portions of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Satellite coordinates for the game were SBS 6, transponder 10 downlink 11946v.
Two home contests will also be featured in the package. Ohio hosted West Virginia December 19th at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center. That game was available in Southeast Ohio and the Charleston/Huntington, West Virginia market on WOWK-TV 13. Other OSN affiliates carrying the Bobcat's matchup with the Mountaineers included Central Ohio Sport TV in greater Columbus, WAOH/WAX TV in Akron/Cleveland and WDRL TV in Roanoke/Lynchburg/Danville, Virginia.
Ohio's home contest against Marshall on February 3rd will air on WOWK, Sport TV, and WDRL, along with WVSX in Beckley, West Virginia and WVFX in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
Ohio's game February 28th at Miami wraps up the OSN-TV package and the regular season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
