Ohio Athletics to Host 'Choose Your Seat Day' at the Convo

ATHENS, Ohio (October 25, 2000) -- The Ohio Athletics Department will host the 2nd annual Choose Your Seat Day for Bobcat basketball fans this Saturday. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Convocation Center will be open to the public. All seats that have not already been purchased by season-ticket holders will be visibly marked. Fans will have the chance to choose the seats that they want for the 2000-01 college basketball season (both men's and women's).
"People like to make decisions for themselves, and that's what this event is all about," said Shelley Binegar, Ohio Athletics Director of Ticket Operations. "Fans can compare seats in various parts of the Convo to determine where they can best enjoy the games."
Ticket office personnel will be on hand to answer questions and assist customers. Ohio Athletics will also provide free Papajohn's Pizza and Pepsi products to everyone who stops by. Due to Ohio University's closed campus status for Halloween weekend, temporary parking passes will be provided to customers.
