Mary Kallestewa (or Kalestewa or Kalistewa)

of Juanita Homer, Mary Kallestewa worked at Zuni trader C. G. Wallace's
post with her husband Lapelle. Known for her mosaic overlay, her
work is characterized by geometric designs that were influenced
by the archaeological dig at Hawikku.
