Iule
Barney Iule is the son of famous Zuni jeweler Horace Iule. Like
his father, Barney specializes in cast silverwork. Known for his
mastery of silvercasting, Horace Iule was one of the first Zunis
to produce the mythological Knife-Wing figure in silver. He is best
known today for his castwork crosses. Horace's other son Philip,
his daughter Lupe Iule and her husband George Leekity also do casting,
as does Lupe and George's daughter Rosella Leekity.
