Alice Quam and Duane Quam
Alice
and Duane Quam have collaborated on clusterwork jewelry since 1945.
She sets the stones, and he does the silverwork. Alice's parents,
Wayne and Doris Ondelacy, taught them. Alice and Duane's daughter,
Lorraine Waatsa, works in the same style but with a wider range
of stones than her parents, who usually work in turquoise, preferably
of the Sleeping Beauty variety. Their daughter, Alvina, does nugget
work. They
sign their work with A & DQ.
