Mechanical Engineering Program Q2S Transition Advising begins:

Fall 2011 for all ME Program undergraduate and graduate students.

Find Your Mechanical Engineering Program Q2S Transition Advisor:

Check your my.ohio.edu if you need to find out who your advisor is.

Make a Q2S Transition Advising Appointment:

• For undergraduate students, transition advising will occur at the same time and location as the normal advising appointments for winter quarter scheduling (approximately sixth and seventh week of fall quarter, in your advisors office).
• Undergraduate students will receive an e-mail with instructions for scheduling advising appointments.
• The transition advising appointments will be schedules in 20 or 30 minute time blocks.
• Graduate students should contact their advisor to schedule a special transition advising appointment prior to the end of Fall quarter 2011.

Preparing for your Transition Advising Appointment:

• Undergraduate students should review the ME program Q2S transition plan (http://www.ohio.edu/mechanical/chair/ME_Q2S_TransitionPlan.pdf) and schedule of course offerings (http://www.ohio.edu/mechanical/chair/MEClassSchedule_2011-2013.pdf), print out the blank Transition Degree Completion Plan (TDCP) form (http://www.ohio.edu/mechanical/chair/tdcp me blankform.pdf), and complete the form with their information to create a tentative TDCP for discussion at their transition advising appointment.
• Please arrive on time and prepared for your appointment, and bring along all of the class scheduling and TDCP materials that you have.
• Graduate students will receive individual instructions from their advisors.
