The Ohio University Men's Crew has a charitable contributions fund established through the Ohio University Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Tax Exempt.

The majority of our operating expenses are raised through year round fundraisers held by the team members.

Due to rising expenses involved with travel, training and equipment, external help in the form of donations has become essential. As a Club Sport at Ohio University, the financial support we receive from the University is limited. Gifts to the organization can be made in the form of cash, marketable appreciated securities, planned gifts (bequests) or gifts-in-kind. Checks should be made out to: Ohio University Foundation, (with an indication in the memo designating it to the Ohio Men's Crew Fund) and sent to Ohio Men's Crew Club Sports Office, Charles J. Ping Center, Athens, OH 45701.

Truck Goal

Truck rental fees are becoming a huge expense for the team year after year.  One of our main fund-raising goals at this time is to secure the funding for a truck.  A truck will make it easier for the team to move our racing shells and our equipment to regattas.  By purchasing a truck it will be beneficial for both the men's and women's teams in the fact it will save both time and money for both of our teams.
