Academic Requirements
Students must enroll in the University for academic credit during the internship quarter. Up to 12 credit hours may be obtained under the internship label (ITS 401). Only 5 hours of ITS 401 will apply to the 45-hour requirement (current checksheet).

To earn academic credit, students are required to submit a journal and a paper evaluating their experiences at the end of their internship quarter. The journal will include a daily accounting of the activities in which the student is involved. It should be a log of the assignments as well as an evaluation of them. At the close of the internship the sponsor should submit to the internship coordinator an evaluation of the intern's performance; standard company evaluations are acceptable.
