Before coming to Ohio University in 2011, I received my PhD in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University, and my MA in English (concentration in TESOL) from San Francisco State University. My primary areas of research and teaching interests include genre studies, English for Specific/Academic Purposes, classroom discourse studies, and second language teacher education.
