Heidi Wright holds a B.A. in French and English (1997) and an M.A. in English Literature (2002) both from the University of Rhode Island. She also holds a TESOL certificate from Missouri State University. She has taught at a variety of universities in the United States, France and Saudi Arabia. She is fluent in French, has studied Spanish and is currently studying Arabic. Her professional interests include the importance of creating reading/writing connections in ESOL and the use of authentic materials in the classroom. She is currently working on a series of writing textbooks for use in short programs.
