All about yours truly
My undergraduate years were spent in the quaint town
of Athens, OH where I earned a B.A. from Ohio University in
International Studies: Asia. With my focus of studies geared toward
Asia, I was awarded the Freeman Asia scholarship to study abroad in
Mainland China. There I studied Chinse Art History with a team of
scholars from both Ohio University and Ohio State University. I later
ventured independently to Taichung, Taiwan to continue my Mandarin
Chinese language studies at Providence University (Jin Yi Da Xue). For
two and a half years I resided in Taiwan studying the language and
teaching EFL. I later returned to Mainland China and continued EFL
instruction at the Jin Qiao academy in Wuxi, China. My abroad travels
have allowed me to visit several provinces in China, almost the
entirety of Taiwan’s island, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, Bali - Indonesia
and North Island of New Zealand.
