Interest
I obtained my Master's degree in TESOL in 2007 from
Wright State University. During my graduate studies, I taught English
composition to native speakers and advanced composition to non-native
speakers. After completing my graduate degree, I taught an OEPT seminar
and intensive TOEFL classes at the University of Cincinnati to Chinese
musicians. I have just completed two terms of teaching EFL to a diverse
realm of students at an American school in Lugano, Switzerland.
Academic writing has been an emphasis in my ESL
teaching and I am also interested in using drama, literature, and
poetry to promote second language acquisition.
