I am really excited to have the opportunity to teach for OPIE at Ohio University! I am a newcomer to OPIE hailing from The American Language Program and The ESL Composition Program at The Ohio State University. Not long before I began my ESL teaching career in The United States, I had about two years teaching experience in Cheonan City, South Korea where I taught EFL at Korea Nazarene University. It was there that I developed my love for teaching EF/ESL and intercultural experiences. From there I went on to get my master's degree from Kent State University, where I had the privilege of teaching in Kent State University's ESL Center as a graduate assistant. I went back to South Korea after finishing my master's degree and spent another two years there. In addition to teaching, I have been involved in professional activities such as teacher mentoring, professional writing, and teaching training. I look forward to working with OPIE faculty and students!
