Ohio University and the Ohio Program of Intensive English require confirmation of financial resources from all applicants who are not United States citizens or who are not holding permanent residence (immigrant) visas at the time they apply for admission. These statements must be on file in the Office of Admissions before the final evaluation for admission is completed.

The applicant is advised that the tuition, fees, and other charges for the quarter or session are due at the beginning of each term. The international student must be prepared to meet these obligations. Current figures for the 2008/2009 school year are

• One quarter (ten weeks): $7,383
• Two quarters (twenty weeks): $14,766
• Three quarters (thirty weeks): $22,149
