WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT or TO BE AN ALLY?
It’s important to be an Ally so that everyone feels comfortable talking to me and knows that I am a source of support, not of judgment. It is so important to let members of the LGBT community know they have resources and people that care about them.
WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”? WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I am proud of being a caring and open person that loves people for who they truly are.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT?
Know that there is support out there.
THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:
Step outside of your comfort zone…. That is the only way to truly grow and develop. Be open-minded and caring towards all and you will be suprised by how many AMAZING people you will meet. THAT is what college is truly about.
