WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT or TO BE AN ALLY?
I believe it is important to be out so that other people realize that we exist in all forms of humanity. Also to let other gay people who are still in the closet know that it’s ok; we can stand together.
WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”? WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I am so proud of the way my friends and family have supported me.
WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF COMING OUT?
I think it is still hard to deal with the ignorance of some people.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT?
Make the choice to come out for yourself.
THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:
When you make gay jokes almost always there’s one of us listening or overhearing, trying to laugh it off like it’s nothing.
