WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT?:

To be 100% honest with yourself and with others. It's not being out to brag or to set an example but to be alright with yourself.

WHY ARE YOU PROUD?:

I am proud of being gay because I can be a voice for others.  I am proud of being gay because it is a part of my identity.  I am most proud of being out and proud and alive.

WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART ABOUT COMING OUT?:

It was so long ago, but it was most difficult coming out to my family. Didn't know if they would be ok with it,  it took a while but they came around.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT?:

Don't hold back, Don't be afraid, it will feel a lot better not having to hold onto the big secret of your sexual orientation.
