WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT?:

Being out or being an ally shows strength and hope for those who need it. It allows for people to be aware of our existence in all walks of life; we are just like everyone else, just a little gayer!

WHY ARE YOU PROUD?:

WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART ABOUT COMING OUT?:

The absolute most difficult thing about coming out was accepting myself and then letting my conservative family know who I am.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT?:

Coming out must be on your own terms, no matter what. Don't give in to pressure from others and always remember: there is support out there; you never have to be alone, especially while coming out.

THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:

We are just like straight people, just a little gayer. We are your equals and deserve all the same rights, as such. We are not Second Class Citizens.
