  It is my duty as a human being to be an ally.

WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”?  WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I am proud to be part of the diverse community of Ohio University.

WHAT WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT PART OF COMING OUT AS AN ALLY?
I was branded and ostracized by people, which was in 1979 where I denounced the actions of the Moral Majority and Anita Bryant.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHERS WHO COME OUT?
Be true to yourself.

THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:
Everyone has a right to the life for which they were destined.
