WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE OUT or TO BE AN ALLY?
It is important to be an ally because everyone deserves an advocate and people who believe in them and who will support them. By being an ally, I feel that I am there for students who are in need, and they know they can talk to me without being judged. Additionally, I can educate others about being an ally and gaining an understanding of differences.

WHY ARE YOU “PROUD”?  WHAT ARE YOU MOST “PROUD” OF?
I am proud of who I am and the fact that I am unique. Everyone has differences, and they should be able to celebrate those differences.

THOUGHTS FOR NON-LGBT PEOPLE ABOUT LGBT PEOPLE AND CONCERNS:
Everyone is human and has feelings. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. Just because someone is “different” than you does not mean they are not a loving, caring individual.
